By using the following criteria for Honor Club as your planning guide your Club can apply for Honor Club. Go for it Florida Junior Civitan. Every Club in Florida can be an Honor Club !  Deadline is May 15, 2011  For Florida to earn Honor District again, our Clubs must earn Honor Club. GO FLORIDA GO!

Honor Club application must satisfy all of the below criteria;

CATEGORY # 1: Service Projects: A)  4 community projects (100 points each)  B) 2 projects to benefit People with developmental disabilities (100 points each)

CATEGORY # 2: Fund Raising Project or In Kind Project, one required (100 points)

CATEGORY # 3: Knowledge - invite a speaker to your meeting or a meeting explaining Special Olympics or the Civitan International Research Center (100 points)

CATEGORY # 4: Fellowship   A) Your Junior Civitan Club fellowship activity and B) Fellowship with your sponsoring Civitan Club (100 points each)

CATEGORY # 5:  Junior - Senior Club Involvement - 400 points required: A) Junior visits to Senior Club Meetings or Projects (100 points per visit)   B) Senior visits to Junior Club Meetings or Projects (100 points per visit)    C) Joint Service and/or Fund Raising Projects (100 points each)

CATEGORY # 6:  Club Management and District Involvement 300 points required.  A) Installation of Officers and Initiation of New Members (25 points), Pins Issued (25 points), Membership Car Issued (25 points)  B) Officer Report Form: Sent to District (25 points) Sent to International (25 points)   C) Dues sent to District (25 points) D) List of Club Members sent to District (25 points)  E) Activities Reports sent to District Oct 10, Dec 10, Feb 10, April 10 (25 points each)  F) District Training, Meetings and Projects - Club Officers trained by District (25 points) Participation in District-wide Meetings and Projects (25 points each)  Attendance at District Convention (25 points)

HONOR CLUB OF DISTINCTION

Complete all categories for Honor Club and achieve at least 600 points in this section. Items A and B are mandatory.

A)  Net gain in membership or maintain membership total from previous year with 100% of members enrolled in the Creed Club (100 points)

B)  Minimum donation of $50 made to the Civitan International Research Center (100 points)

C)  30% of membership must be Creed Club members (100 points)

D)  Collection project reported to international (100 points)

E)  Membership Recruitment campaign held (100 points)

F)  World Junior Civitan Day campaign held (100 points)

G)  Held joint project with sponsoring club in February during Civitan Appreciation Month (100 points)

H)  Held Environmental Awareness project (100 points)

I)   Social Causes Awareness Campaign held (100 points)
